The works council election is based on Candidate Lists. Candidate Lists can be submitted from among the employees: Supporting signatures from 5 percent of eligible voters are required (if the calculation does not result in a whole number, it is always rounded up); signatures from 50 eligible voters are always sufficient. From the trade union: Signatures from 2 trade union representatives are required.
