Create Voter List

• List of all actively eligible voters (active voting right) and eligible candidates (passive voting right) in alphabetical order

Preparation of the Election Notice

• Determine size of Works Council according to §9 BetrVG
• Calculate minimum seats in Works Council for minority gender (in our case: female) according to §15 para. 2 BetrVG
• Define timeline of election procedure
• Make local arrangements
• Calculate number of required supporting signatures for a Candidate List according to §14 para. 4 BetrVG

Receipt of Candidate Lists and convening a review meeting

Announcement of Candidate Lists

• Serial number of the list
• List name (title)
• All candidates and associated information

Distribution of Postal Voting materials

Public vote counting

• Verification of validity
• Counting of votes cast in person
• Counting of postal votes
